Rick Dyson Profile  

Hello I am Rick Dyson, born in Connecticut, I have worked in academic libraries in Montana, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Texas.  I have a BA in History from Eastern Connecticut State University, a MA in History from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and my Masters in Library Science (MLS) from the University of Maryland.  Rick and his wife Deb are the proud parents of a dog  and a cat.   Rick is an avid sports aficionado. I am a Reference and Instruction Librarian at MWSU, since January of 2004 and have enjoyed my time at Western immensely.  I also teach a section of UNV 101 whenever I can.

I am interested in Web 2.0 technologies and integrating them into the library world and the class room in UNV 101 as much as possible.
